iFlex Intense Waterproof is a single color, low voltage, LED strip lighting system suitable for use in damp or wet locations. It uses the latest in SMD (Surface Mounted Diode) technology mounted onto a thin, flexible PCB board. The Board is then encased in optically clear silicone. Its small size - 10mm x 3mm allows for installation into tight spaces or areas where a low profile, waterproof, lineal lighting solution is required. Silicone encapsulation is superior to the standard epoxy resin used by most manufacturers. The silicone does not dry/crack or yellow or turn a milky color when exposed to water or UV, instead remaining optically clear.
